New Card
1. Staff-
The new staff member must have signed their contract and be placed on the PeopleSoft System by Human Resources.2. Student-
The new student must have completed registration ensuring that they are registered for their courses and financially cleared by the Bursary.
Replacement Card-
To replace your ID Card once lost, please follow the required steps:The option will be given to retake a new picture. The ID card will be activated immediately once issued. However, access to services using the ID card such as Library access, gym access and access control (if available at your location), will vary based on how frequently those systems are updated. Note that if the card is stolen, the fee will be waivered once a Trinidad and Tobago Police Report is presented to the ID Card office.
- Pay the fee of One Hundred and Eighty Dollars($180TTD) at any of the cashiers in The Lloyd Braithwaite Student Administration Building or the Main Administration Building;
- Receive and retain your receipt of payment for replacement ID Card;
- Ensure that you are financially cleared;
- Visit the ID Card Office once you are financially cleared;
- Present your receipt of payment for replacement ID and request for ID to be reprinted.
Lost / Found-
If your card is lost, immediately contact the ID Card Office, Centre for Workforce Research and Development, Ground floor via telephone 662-2002 ext 83120 or email: IDCard.Help@sta.uwi.edu.
Other departments that can be checked for lost cards include:Return all lost ID cards (staff, student, alumni, retiree and visitor) to the ID Card Office Centre for Workforce Research and Development, Ground floor (Opposite Health Services Unit) telephone 662-2002 ext 83120 between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Stolen
Immediately report the card as stolen to the ID Card Office via telephone 662-2002 ext 83120 or email: IDCard.Help@sta.uwi.edu and UWI Estate Police/ National Police and obtain a police report. Present a Trinidad and Tobago police report which lists the ID Card as one of the items stolen, and the ID card will be replaced free of charge. If you do not have a Trinidad and Tobago police report, the card replacement fee must be paid prior to receiving a replacement ID card.
